"Soar" Mixed Media Altered Box

Hello Everyone!                                                     January 21, 2013

Happy New Year to you all!  I am sorry it has been a while since I have posted, but with the holidays and going to CHA it was a CRAZY but wonderful time!  (More on CHA later!)

I wanted to share another Mixed Media box I made:

These are so fun and really pretty easy to do! I used a bunch of the items from our altered items swap ladies. There was so much to choose from and I found lots to use!! I still find the painting to be the hardest part, with the blending and all, but practice, practice, practice!

Here are some more pictures:

The quote says: "Let your soul take you where you long to be...Close your eyes, let your spirit start to SOAR,
And you'll live as you've never lived before."

I just have  to fill it up with goodies and send it to the person I made it for!

This is one of my favorite projects to do now!  I will be doing more in the future so I hope you don't get tired of seeing what I do!

Hope you have an amazingly creative day!

:)  Christine

  1. Hi Christine,

I never get tired of seeing your inspiring creations. Thank you for sharing your talents with all of us.
This box is amazing as usual...I will be making one very soon. Hubby picked up some wooden cigar boxes for me. I can't wait to get started but I need to get some gesso and white paint.
    hugs to you,
