Hi Crafty Friends!

I am behind in posting on my blog!  :(   so sorry!  Time is precious and it sure does fly by quickly doesn't it?!?!

Tonights class will feature one of my favorite designs!  I LOVE nature and projects I can incorporate nature into!  This tree design comes from a stencil from Crafters Workshop!  They have some of the most wonderful stencils!

I know the picture is dark but I actually preferred it this way for this design if it makes sense!  The quote is just one of my own that I thought of while creating this project.

All you need for this project is a stencil, some oil pastels a tool to scratch the pastels away with and a board to work on.

(I purchased the boards and the scratch tools I have as one big kit from an art class I took last year sometime and I am seperating them if you need a board and tool you can purchase it here on my blog) This is a special type of board and I am not sure really what it even is!  I do  not know if you can do this project on any other type of board, so please let me know if you try it yourself on something else!

Please share your creations with me if you choose to make one!
This kit comes with one board like I used for my project and 2 scratch tools. The board is 5 X 7 in size.  I am going to try and get larger boards as well!  Price is $ 9.99 and that INCLUDES Shipping!   I only have a few of these available so if you want one I encourage you to purchase one now!

I am also working on an online store to make purchasing easier and will let you know when that is up an running!  :)

Book Box

Hello Everyone!

I hope you are having a creative day!  I wanted to share with you the Book Box I made using Ady's Pre-Colored Dollie!  Remember she is selling an Amazing coloring book now with all PRE-COLORED images of her gorgeous WIDE EYED beauties!  This book is AWESOME for QUICK and EASY projects such as the box I made here:

This is one of 27 BEAUTIFUL images that are available for purchase from Ady here:

                                         http://dolldreams.ning.com/

The other coloring book of UN-COLORED images is also still available from Ady!  The best part is that BOTH books have different images so you get a bunch of these BEAUTIES!!!

Ady's books are also such a great bargain! There are 35 images in the Un-Colored coloring book and 27 in the Pre-Colored Book! Both books are both $25.00 each!  This makes each images less than $1.00 each!  How can you go wrong!?!?!?

When you purchase your book from Ady it will be delivered to your e-mail as a downloadable E-Book!  This means you can use ALL of the images over and over again and resize them as well!

Go!!  Run!!!!  HURRY!  Go get your books!

Keep Coloring!

"Soar" Mixed Media Altered Box

Hello Everyone!                                                     January 21, 2013

Happy New Year to you all!  I am sorry it has been a while since I have posted, but with the holidays and going to CHA it was a CRAZY but wonderful time!  (More on CHA later!)

I wanted to share another Mixed Media box I made:

These are so fun and really pretty easy to do! I used a bunch of the items from our altered items swap ladies. There was so much to choose from and I found lots to use!! I still find the painting to be the hardest part, with the blending and all, but practice, practice, practice!

Here are some more pictures:

The quote says: "Let your soul take you where you long to be...Close your eyes, let your spirit start to SOAR,
And you'll live as you've never lived before."

I just have  to fill it up with goodies and send it to the person I made it for!

This is one of my favorite projects to do now!  I will be doing more in the future so I hope you don't get tired of seeing what I do!

Hope you have an amazingly creative day!

:)  Christine
