Bountiful Blossom Barbie With Cheery Lynn Designs

This is my project for the Cheery Lynn Design Challenge for this week!  You can find the challenge blog and all of the projects submitted here:

                           http://cheerylynndesigns.blogspot.com/search/label/challenge

I LOVE Barbie and making Altered Barbies with Flowers and bling has always been one of my favorite things to do, however this is my FIRST ever Barbie made with HANDMADE FLOWERS!  WHAT BETTER WAY TO SHOW MY LOVE FOR CHEERY LYNN DIES AND BARBIES AT THE SAME TIME?!?

There are a TOTAL OF 135 HANDMADE FLOWERS and 35 Flourishes on this "Bountiful Blossom Barbie" and I used all Cheery Lynn Dies on her! (You can also purchase the dies from me below).

Her hair is adorned with with the Miniature Rose Flower, the Cutie Fringe IV and some leaves from the Flourish Leaf Strip.  I tucked a piece of tulle and some pearls behind her head and added some larger bling for a head band.  I added small rhinestones around her neck and added a tiny flower from the Tiny Flower Die to create her necklace.  She also has tiny rhinestones for earrings.

I used the Cutie Fringe IV Die and a few more Tiny Flowers to decorate her bodice and again added some leaves to create a waistline decoration.

The sides of her dress are decorated with a trail of Tiny Flowers and Leaves again using the Tiny Flower Kit Die and the Flourish Leaf Strip.  If you look closely you can see bling added as a bracelet and as a ring for her finger.

The back of her dress was the most fun to do!  I placed a small butterfly from the Tiny Wings With Things Die on at her waist. I added large bling down the back of her dress and then cascaded flowers using the Fringe IV and Tiny Flower Dies all down the length of her dress.

There are over 120 flowers JUST on the back of this dress!

I added tiny bling to the centers of some of the flowers and left some of them pop up as "pom-pom" type flowers.

I LOVE Cheery Lynn Designs and ALL of their dies, but their flower dies are my favorite!  You can create so many beautiful things using them!

You can purchase the dies I used on this project below and if you look at past posts I have more dies to offer!

I hope you like my project!

Birds Of A Feather Class with Totally Tools and EXTRAS Available

Hello Ladies!

Here is the project for tonights class:

This post is TOTALLY about The TOOLS!  These are 3 of my all time favorite tools for crafting and especially for working with Cheery Lynn Dies!

First up is my FAVORITE, FAVORITE, FAVORITE Flower tool!  Oh , did I tell you it was my FAVORITE!?!?!  This tool is 6 1/4 inches long and is double ended.  One end has a stylus for embossing paper and the other end is slotted for rolling petals or for quilling!

Second is the BEST EVER glue bottle ever!  It has a SUPER FINE tip that holds .05 oz of any liquid.  Glue, paint, etc.  (I personally use this for my glue!)  THE TIP IS RUST PROOF METAL and the cap cover is attached to the actual bottle bottle so you can NEVER lose it!  There is also a notch on the side of the bottle for when you remove the cap to use the bottle and the cap then sits nicely on the notch!

And last but not least are the Super Fine Crafting Tweezers!  4 3/4" long and made from Stainless Steel. Perfect for holding or placing your fine objects onto whatever surface you are looking to put them onto!

You will LOVE these tools and find that you will use them as your "GO-TO" set for ALL of your crafting needs!  I know I Do!

In addition tonight I will be showing you another project I am working on that is FULL of FLOWERS! You will love it, or HER shall I SAY!!!!
