Ornaments with Cheery Lynn Dies

I have always said that Cheery Lynn Designs makes some AMAZING Dies and I stand by that firmly!  Their dies are beautiful and so intricately full of detail!  Today I was playing with my doily dies trying to make on of those BEAUTIFUL ornaments so many people are making now to get ready for the holidays!  Below are my own creations using the French pastry Doily Die and The Laced Pine Snowflake Die from Cheery Lynn Designs!  These are so easy to make and they look wonderful!  I made both of these "double sided", the front and back look exactly the same.  This way they can be hung from a gift bag or even from a Christmas Tree. I am also going to be making some "one sided" to place on the front of cards and presents as well!

I used folded and creased areas on the doily to make them look 3 dimensional and then inserted some sparkly tulle between the doily cut out and the snowflake cut out.  I punched a circle out of matching card stock and hot glued an embellishment in the center.

Angel Tag/Bookmark Kit

Angels are Spirtually Inspiring, Comforting and Endearing.  We all have our own reasons for calling on Angels whether it be for guardianship, comfort or whatever other need we are trying to fulfill or seek out.  Angels typically manifest purity, goodness and selflessness and are thought to be celestial beings that act as an intermediary between heaven and earth.

We all have our own reasons for searching out these mystical beings.  

I have done several Angel projects of my own; angel books being one of my most favorite as well as most popular.  So many people LOVE Angels and for this reason any Angel products make wonderful gifts!  I have made several projects like these and will continue to add to my collection of creating with and about these Beautiful Celestial Beings!

Halloween Sweet Treat Holder Class!

With Halloween almost just a month away I thought I would give you some ideas on some of the treat holders I have made in the past along with a couple new ones I found!  These treats are perfect for passing out to trick or treaters, to use as class treats for your children, to use at Halloween parties for favors or as a simple treat to place by your dinners for your family as it gets closer to Halloween!

All I did was cut the file, assemble the shoe, ink the edges with white ink, glue the spider on the top of the shoe and fill with hershey kisses!  EASY!!!                                        

This wrapped Hershey Bar was made using stamps from Close To My Heart that I got from Gerriann Reeves Armstrong here on her blog:

I used stamp sets D1490 Backdrop-Charmed holidays
and C1509 Magic Potions Holiday

I embossed the wrapper with stamp set D1490
Stamped C1509 and cut it out and adhered it with a 3D stamp dot so it would POP and glued ruffeled black lace on each end!  EASY!

PRIMA The Sweetest Thing Layout

Who doesn't LOVE Prima and all their GORGEOUS papers, flowers and other embellishments?!??!

This layout was made using the Songbird Collection and was inspired by Stacey Young:

The colors of these collection are so soft and perfect for a baby layout!  Because this project uses so many 3D embellishments; flowers, clay tiles, chipboards, gems and more; it is the perfect layout to put inside a shadow box or other 3D Frame.
