PEONY FLOWER Using Cheery Lynn Dies!

I am exploring more and more flowers with Cheery Lynn Dies!  These Dies truly are the best resource if you are looking for some affordable, easy to use dies that help you achieve an AWESOME END RESULT in your handmade flower making!

I made this tag using ALL Cheery Lynn Dies!  The tag itself was made using the

Coved Rectangle-Classic LG Stackers Nesting Dies!  OMG!  This set is AWESOME!

Stacker Nesting Dies- includes a total of 6 dies.
Each Die measures
7 1/4" x 5 5/8” (184mm x 143mm)
6 1/2” x 4 7/8" (165mm x 124mm)
5 3/4" x 4 1/8" (146mm x 105mm)
5" x 3 3/8" (127mm x 84mm)
4 1/4" x 2 5/8" (108mm x 67mm)
3 1/2" x 1 7/8" (89mm x 48mm)

This series of basic geometric shapes vary from 5-7/8" to 7-1/2" in size. The dies are the largest size that a Cuttlebug™ and a Big Shot™ will die cut. This grouping will work well with any manual die cutter that is larger. You may "stack" a smaller die within a larger die for creating frames or use each as single dies to cut shapes. Supplied with each set of 6 dies is a magnetic sheet. Die cut the magnetic material with the smallest die in your Stacker set. The magnet is used to keep a smaller die in place for cutting frames.

This Die can be found on the right hand side here on my blog on the page labeled Dies used for Cheery Lynn Projects/Classes

I also used the Faeirie Lace Butterfly Die, which I ahve to say has been the most popular selling Die for me in my U Stream Classes.  Everyone LOVES this die and the result they get when using it!

This Die can be found on the right hand side here on my blog on the page labeled Cheery Lynn Butterfly Dies.

The smaller flowers surrounding the Peony are made using the Cutie 2 Die.  This die is an ESSENTIAL Die to making small, easy, but beautiful rolled flowers for your projects!

The peony itself is made using 3 dies.  All of these Dies can be found here on my blog on the page labeled Cheery Lynn Flower Dies.  You need the Stacker 5 Die, The Sunflower Die and the Sweet Williams Die.

The Peony requires the following cuts:

5  of the Stacker 5 Die Cut
3  of the Sweet Williams Die Cut (The smaller of the 2 dies is used in this flower only)
2  of the Sun Flower Die Cuts

The Peony is assembled very simply!  The base is one of the Stacker 5 Flowers and the petals are rolled DOWN.  The next 4 Stacker 5 Flowers need to have their petals rolled up along with all fo the Sweet Williams Cuts and the Sunflowers.  Simply stagger all of the die cuts as you layer them one on top of the other and you have a BEAUTIFUL PEONY FLOWER!!!  EASY PEASY!!!!

I hope you get a chance to make one of these beautiful flowers yourself!  If you have any questions, Please let me know!

Keep Creating!

A Few Other Altered Barbies....

Here are a few of the other Altered Barbies I have made...these are so much fun to do!

This doll has over 500 flowers on her!  She is my PRIDE and JOY! I LOVED every minute of making her and she took A LOT OF MINUTES TO CREATE!

I glittered each individual flower on her bodice and train!

This is the Halloween Barbie I told you all I made last Halloween.  I think these are the dolls you were all speaking about at my show last evening!

Perfect use for these dolls!  HALLOWEEN DECORATIONS!

This was my VERY FIRST ALTERED BARBIE.  She is made with lots of TULLE, PEARLS and FOLDED PAPER!

I am looking forward to making lots more of these pretties!!!

FOREVER a BARBIE GIRL,

:) Christine

Altered Tinker Bell Barbie

Here are a few pixs of the Altered Tinker Bell Doll that we did in class last evening!  These Barbies are s fun and easy to alter!

I have a kit available if you got  to the tabs on the right here on my blog and you can get a punch and a couple of dies that I used to make my Tinker Bell Doll look beautiful like this!  The doll IS included in the kit!

Her skirt is made using the Leaf Stacker Die from Cheery Lynn Designs in both green and white glitter paper!
Her Bodice is made using the McGill Daisy Stacker Punch with the viva Decor pearl Pen in the center for a white accent!  I also used some butterfly punches to decorate her hair a bit and added some resin flowers and the Olive Branch Die Branches off to the side of her head.
Everyone LOVES the Faerie Lace Butterfly Cheery Lynn Dies and I used both here to accent her wings!

This doll was fun and easy to do!   Give it a try and be sure to post on my facebook page so I can see what you do!

Keep Creating!!
